Download my own personal guide and read about my experiences in discovering
the offshore schools. It also contains many links and I hope to add content
as students respond with more information. Not yet completed however.
Written by a bright Canadian, this is by far one of the best guides that
I have had the pleasure of reading. I learned about Saba and the rest of
the offshore schools through him. I highly recommend this for anyone interested
in Saba.
Another excellent site written by a Canadian who secured a competitive
residency. He is very honest in the positive and negative aspects about
the Caribbean schools and has links as well.
An excellent resource page that lists unfilled residencies and even has
a place to rate experiences in residencies. Many links and miscellaneous
details as well.
A nice brief page that has information about the USMLE in all its different
Steps. Also a good messageboad which could really use some more traffic
from IMGs.
One of the largest listings of medical books for USMLE, Clerkships, and
Fellowships that I have ever seen. I don't know the value of all the books
listed, but hopefully we can get more information on messageboards.
An awesome messageboard where anyone can post and read questions about
a variety of foreign schools. Be careful of the content as rumors abound.
Always verify sources and investigate further.
A very good IMG site that has a number of features including visa and residency
information. However, you need a password which can take a while after
you e-mail the site owner.
A top-notch site developed by Mr. Histamine. There are a lot of useful
tidbits here and should provide a good deal of entertainment as well. A
webring is also included to direct you to ther pages.
A pretty good messageboard that has a lot of posts. I haven't used it often
myself since I am not at the USMLE stage yet, but should provide good information.
Find out information about Saba and other IMG students through these polls.
Then check out the pictures on the slideshow. I will have A LOT more pictures
from my visit to Saba hopefully in a week or so.
